- A heel turn for the lady is.......Moving Balance
Men, when dancing a figure with a Heel-turn for the lady don't focus to much on your steps! When dancing a heel turn figure than only concentrate on the Balance from your Lady. Your dancing / steps or movement should never disturb the balance from the lady while dancing her heel turn. Consider that in the heel turnthe lady has to reverse her movement from Backward to Forward over three steps. Between the Forward and Backward movement somewhere the ultimate moment of Balance must be present.Ladies: keep your balance slightly forward when moving backwards into the heel turn
